"As a teen, I had an opportunity to volunteer with individuals with I/DD through a residential organization that my amazing aunt owned and operated. From that point forward, my passion for helping others grew into a strong desire for advocacy for effective and appropriate services. As a professional, I've seen this need grow significantly and know a better service delivery is possible- because that's what I do every day. Tricycle ABA was started in 2023 out of a need for effective ABA services with a mindful approach and continued excellence in providing the highest quality services with personalized programming for Individuals.
It is named in honor of my Great Uncle Jack, who had Down syndrome and loved singing while riding his adult tricycle through his neighborhood, waving a big hello to his Park Ridge, IL neighbors. As someone who lived many years ago, he was never able to experience advocacy for formalized supports or participate in dignified intervention. In Jack's honor, I celebrate each achievement and advocate that every person is able to live the very best life of their choosing." -Jaime
